Note:

This website is not meant to be a detailed, step-by-step, log of my build process.

This log is simply a place for me to post a select few pics with simple explanations of what I am doing so that family and friends can follow my progress.

  About My Vans RV-7:

This aircraft project is now SOLD.

This is the builder's log for my third airplane project - a Van's RV-7. I purchased this airplane kit because I wanted a fast airplane to use for my personal travels.

Power will be provided by a new 180 horsepower O-360 and a fixed pitch prop from Van's Aircraft. The panel will be basic.

I am building the tailgragger version of the RV-7. I chose the slider canopy because I believe that the slider rollbar offers better protection in the unlikely event of an off-airport landing and rollover.
